Finally. Finished. Finals.

Say that five times fast. It's good to be done with the tests, and especially the paper, but for the next few days I feel like I'll just keep saying, "Now what?" You see, my lovely roommate, Claire, asked me to stay until Friday when everyone has to move out. Of course I said yes. Although I am ready to be home in some ways, I'm happy to stay for a few more days and hang out with the people that I have really connected with at Drake.

Unfortunately, most of them are busy with their own tests, and when they will be done, I have to work. It still makes sense to do it this way though, because now I won't have to drive down to West Des Moines and back for the next three days.

Anyway, I guess it's all bittersweet. I am happy to be done with all of the tests, papers, and classes, but sad to leave some of the people who have taken me under their wing and been true friends.

Yesterday afternoon was a weird feeling. I was in the library with Claire, and I submitted my take home final on Blackboard. I felt so happy and relieved, but then I just felt...weird. I guess I have some regrets from my time at Drake, but I am still eager to start my journey at Grand View over the next 3 years.

Happy Birthday, Mom! You're finally 50!
I'm heading out to lunch with mom, Bethany, and grandma to celebrate! Then I have work.

Last night Claire and I went on another one of our adventures through campus. It never gets old. :) We went to Quad to get mozzarella sticks and mini corn dogs (our tradition), and then sat around watching campus activity at 10:30 at night! Well, then some guys came in and performed a song for us! It was pretty entertaining. Then, we followed up with Gossip Girl. Can't beat that type of night. :)

Just one more day and I'm out of here. It all seems so weird, but I guess I will be ready for my new journey! This morning Rainey, Sarah, Taylor, Nicole and I went to Mars Café for a final get together :/ so sad, but we are hoping for a trip to Chicago this summer!
