My Favorite Holiday

As you turn a corner, you begin to drive into a subdivision. Although the sky is dark, everywhere you look is illuminated by streetlights with festive decorations and the twinkling lights that decorate nearly every house. The snow looks like glittery powder on the ground, and as you walk up to the front porch, you can see a small cloud of your breath cutting through the crisp air. The sleigh bells jingle as you open the door and step inside to the inviting smell of pine needles, peppermint, and sugar cookies. Homemade cards, letters, and dozens of family photos are strewn atop a coffee table. In the living room, the family gathers around a piano, singing songs that have been around for ages.

'Tis the season in which we remember our Savior's birth.
