I. Introduction
A. Who am I? 
   1.Melanie Leach   senior at North Polk
B. Basketball
   1. I've been playing since 4th grade.
   2.Waiting
        a. Jersey handout day
        b. waiting to come out but never did
C. "Disappointment"
   1. I was disappointed with myself.
   2. I was disappointed with my coach.
   3. Do you know what it's like? To be let down?
D. Luckily, I've been disappointed before.
   1. Gabe and volleyball
BUT, it's a good thing that God isn't like Gabe.
II. Romans 5:5
A.  says "and hope does not disappoint us. because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us."
   1. I've been let down.
   2. I've let others down.
   3. But God NEVER lets us down.
B. He loves us enough to die.
   1. Romans 5:8 "but God demonstrates his own love toward us in this. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
C. He provides.
   1. He put me into a situation and didn't reveal to me what would become of it until two years later.
D. I don't have all the answers, but I do know that God has a plan, and I can trust in him.
