Grand View University

Wow! Big news. I thought that transferring schools would be super stressful and scary, but for the most part I have been relativrly calm.

As of last week, I officially committed to becoming a Grand View Viking next year.

Although I would love to continue my education at Drake, Grand View gives me the chance to follow my passions and pursue my dreams through the numerous scholarships they have offered me.

I have accepted academic, art, athletic, and music scholarships. I plan to participate in the Grand View choir and play on the Women's basketball. I am very excited to become a student-athlete again!

I am happy to declare that I will major in Graphic Journalism while minoring in Photography. It is truly a blessing that my new university will help me pursue my dream of someday opening my own photography studio.

Because of my choral scholarship, it is required for me to register for voice lessons, but I see this as a huge benefit. For the alloted time every week, I get to SING for college credit!

The greatest part about transferring is that I have been totally calm about it. God has completely laid out my path, and I feel so encouraged to trust Him as my guide.
